The material of Cast Iron Measuring Plate is high-strength cast iron HT200 and HT250. After two times’ artificial heat aging treatment( Artificial annealing temperature 600℃ to 700℃or 2-3 years natural aging) the internal stress was totally eliminated, so the surface plate have stable accuracy and good wear-resisting performance.

Package:
The Cast Iron Measuring Surface Plate shall be packed by iron plate or wooden cases and working surface shall be covered with plastic film, which can protect the surface plate against moisture, shock, rust and rough handling, to ensure the surface plate be delivered to the destination safely.
Before using, the Measuring Surface Plate shall be mounted and debugged. When used, the working surface should be kept clean and be protected from damage. To ensure there is no collision between the workpiece and working surface and the weight of the workpiece should not exceed the loading capacity of the surface plate or it may cause damage to the working surface and it even can cause deformation.
